A BLAZE of colour and a festival of food filled Levens' play park as residents braved cold temperatures to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. "It's the biggest event I can remember happening in Levens," said Mr Jones. Organiser Paul Jones said it would be an event everyone would always remember. The sound of music could be heard from a special songs of praise service and by local songstress Fiona Hanlon. Bouncy castles and face painting were on offer for children to revel in while the adults ate sandwiches and cakes. It's something everybody can be really proud of. |
