| Nichols Hills Garden Tour Will Go On
Despite the detrimental weather over the past few days, the Nichols Hills Garden Tour will go on today only. The event will host tours of 6 gardens, The Alber's, The Connor-Little's, The Fulmers, The Loftis', The Kennedy's and the Federman's private residence gardens. Nichols Hills features mostly high end homes to luxurious and extravagant mansions of social and architectural acclaim. The self-sustaining City includes a private golf course and the Nichols Hills Golf and Country Club. Longterm horticulture haven, Horn Seed and Feed appears to be the closest location for purchase, at the North Classen Boulevard and Northwest Expressway intersection, just East of Penn Square Mall. The Tour is scheduled from 9a to 4p and as with most home tours, this is directed towards adults. Tickets must be purchased in advance for $15. On hand for the garden event, will be expert horticulturalists at each site to discuss the formatting of the gardens, the plant selection and care. |
