Feathered and furry

The Michigan Humane Society (MHS) will hold a series of Friday adoption events called "TGIFFFF" - Thank Goodness it's Furry and Feathered Friend Fridays this month at its Westland shelter.

"We had more than 200 animals come into our care immediately after the Pet Station raid, and the majority of these animals were birds and smaller pets," said Debby MacDonald, MHS Chief Cruelty Investigator, in a press release. More than 20 staff members here at MHS have stepped up to the plate and provided foster care for these animals as they recuperated from their ordeal. Now, we want to make sure all of these animals are placed with wonderful families.
