The conference called Cats and Dogs 101 will take place from May 25-26 at the Canad Inns in Portage la Prairie will registration taking place both days at 8:30 p. Kit Jenkins from Petsmart Charities will be guest speaker on Friday talking about how to help out homeless animals and how to identify the breed and personality of your cat and Brad Pattison of the tv show At the End of My Leash will be guest speaker on Saturday where he will talk about dogs and their behaviour. For the 2012 conference PAWS decided to bring the conference back to basic and cater to the general public. This isn't the first time PAWS has held such an event; they started the conference back in Oct. . "We wanted to focus on the general public as well. Registration for the event will cost $90 for one day or $155 for two, including morning snack, lunch and coffee. |
