Simple Ways to Redecorate Your Home

Simple Ways to Redecorate Your Home

It's the little things that make a house go from looking nice to looking amazing.

You can change the way a room looks by paining a wall and creating an instant focal point.

Clutter is the magazines, the photographs, the knick-knacks, postcards, letters and all those little things that you hold on to that that may have been meaningful at one point, but no longer serve a purpose.

Adding a mural, bright paining or impactful photograph will help spruce up your living room.

By removing items like a lousy bean bag chair, random chair, extra coffee table or useless end table you'll be able to leave some breathing room in your home. You might transform your living room into a place to do yoga once a week but that doesn't mean it should look like a gym by leaving yoga mats and weights lying around all week. Adding a little color through paint will dramatically change the look of a room. You can also add throw pillows, blinds or other décor that match the color scheme of your new focal point. Spaces without rugs appear larger. By removing some items from a room, you may find a better place for them in another room. By putting things back in their place and removing items that don't serve a purpose that season (think wool blankets or candles in the summer time), you'll see a huge difference in your home. The color of your new art work should play off the colors and mood of the rest of the room.
