UK's first green building hub to provide energy efficiency training

Thousands of construction workers are to be trained how you can make properties more energy efficient, thanks to the opening of the UK's first green building hub. The hub will also concentrate on training the next wave of construction workers and will feature courses for students as well as professionals. Communities minister Andrew Stunell claimed that the centre will provide a huge boost to those in the construction industry as the country prepares for the introduction of the Green Deal. "That's why this Government has wasted no time taking practical steps to pave the way for tenants and home-owners to retrofit their homes through Green Deal, and for businesses to provide the upgrades."
