Roofing contractor dies on job in Oakland County

Police say a roofing contractor was killed when a ladder he and a co-worker were holding struck a power line in Oakland County's Brandon Township. Both victims were taken to a hospital in Grand Blanc. A 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital, and a 48-year-old man was treated and listed in stable condition. While the men were trying to raise the ladder, they lost control and it fell into several electrical wires about 10 to 12 feet off the edge of the building. Police say both men are from Clio.
