"I will be singing as [my character] Carlene, not Kristin," she noted. She continued: "I'm just so happy that people are embracing it. Chenoweth also revealed that she will be singing in her new sitcom GCB in a very different style than her fans are used to. "When you make it, or when you are recognised for one thing, like opera or musical theatre, a great deal of times people don't wish to hear you do something else," the singer explained to Parade . The actress recently defended GCB against claims that the series makes fun of Christianity by insisting that she would never mock religion.
