| A Taste of Hanover to benefit 2 nonprofits The 8th Annual A Taste of Hanover, hosted by Bass Pro Shops, will be presented from 5 to 8 p. on Wednesday, April 25, inside Bass Pro Shops in Ashland. " For the price of a ticket, attendees sample a range of culinary specialties, wine and beer while enjoying live music. These funds will improve lives by: - Sending kids to camp and summer educational programs. A Taste of Hanover is described as "a flavor-filled food festival, showcasing the diversity of Hanover County's restaurants and caterers. - Providing respite care for children, adults along with their families. This year, the goal is to increase $25,000 for children and adults with disabilities. A Taste of Hanover benefits Hanover Arc and Hanover Community Support Services, two nonprofits that join together to enhance the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities. - Providing safe and affordable housing for individuals and families. |
